Collection contains a large number of Kwilecki's documentary photographs and other papers, also related to his career as a photographer. There are photographic prints of Decatur Co., Georgia that relate to various aspects of life in the county including religion, agriculture, the timber industry, commerce, the courts, cemeteries, a prom, and recreation. The conditions for African-Americans and women are also reflected in this group. Some photographs were taken in Bainbridge, Ga. Other materials include correspondence, mainly between Kwilecki, Alex Harris and David Vestal. There is also a diary, an unpublished manuscript, and two notebooks containing printing notes.
